Luke Bryan was born in Leesburg, Georgia in 1976. He attended Lee County High School and Georgia Southern University. His first guitar was a gift from his parents. He has not stopped playing since then. When he was a teen, Luke started playing with various bands and local clubs. In 2001, he moved to Nashville and was offered a job as a songwriter.

Luke is married to Caroline Boyer, with whom he has two sons – Thomas Boyer who was born in 2008 and Tatum Christopher in 2010. Luke Bryan won two Academy of Country Music awards in the year 2010, and one CMT Music Award in the year 2010.
