Julian Casablacas is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who has an estimated net worth of $13 million. Born Julian Fernando Casablancas on August 23, 1978 in New York City, New York, he is the son of Spanish-American magnate John Casablancas who grew up listening to the music of the likes of Phil Collins. However, his parents divorced, which lead his mother into marrying Sam Adoqui whose taste in music influenced Julian Casablancas choice of music as he grew older.

Casablancas is known as the lead singer of the American rock bands The Strokes, founded in 1998, and The Voidz, founded in 2013. He also pursued a solo career in 2009 when The Stokes went hiatus, which lead to the release of the album Phrazes for the Young. Aside from these, he collaborated as well with several other artists on their work, including The Lonely Island's 2009 album Incredibad and Daft Punk's 2013 album Random Access Memories.

With most of his wealth coming from his singing and songwriting career, Julian Casablancas has had a rewarding musical career. He even founded the independent record label Cult Records in 2009, which was initially used as an imprint for Casablancas' solo releases. The label later became a standalone label, and in June 2014, it entered a label services agreement with Kobalt.
