Andrea Kremer is an American television sports journalist with an estimated net worth of $4 Million. She is best known for being a reporter for the NBC, and a few other channels. She is currently working as the correspondent at “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” on HBO, and is also the Chief Correspondent for Safety Issues for the NFL Network and Player Health. Andrea was born in Philadelphia and attended the Friends Select School. She graduated from the University of Philadelphia.
Andrea entered television in 1982 and took up the job of a sports editor for the Chronicle Pennsylvania’s largest newspaper agency. She left the agency in 1984 and joined NFL as a producer – she was the first female producer. She produced and directed many short documentary films on NFL such as This is the NFL, Inside NFL, Gift of Grab, and The All Pro Dream. “Autumn Ritual” is a special film that is dedicated to NFL. It was written, edited and directed by Andrea – it won an Emmy Award nomination in 1984.
She joined ESPN in 1989 and became its very first female correspondent. There was no looking back for her. Kremer did a lot of shows such as Outside the Lines, Sunday NFL Countdown, and Sports Center. She also worked for HBO and NBC and served as a correspondent for HBO’s ‘Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel’ which won an Emmy Award. The “Working Mother Magazine” has ranked her as one of the “Most Influential Moms” in the country in 2001.
Andrea married John Steinberg an archaeologist from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and they currently reside in Massachusetts with their son.
