John Clayton Mayer or simply John Mayer is a blues rock and pop musician, singer-songwriter, music producer and recording artist from the US. Mayer has done a lot of other things in his life as well. For instance, he has worked as a stand-up comedian, television host, writer and graphic designer. He was born on October 16th 1977. His current estimated net worth stands at an impressive $40 million.

It all started for him when he was just a child. He was performing the guitar at local bars already by the time he had reached high school. In an effort to further his music career quickly, John opted to drop out of college and move to Atlanta. This is where he formed the LoFi Masters with his friend and musician Clay Cook. But this didn’t work out – the duo split soon. John later set up the John Mayer Trio with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino.

Later in his life, John started his solo career. He released “EP Inside Wants Out” independently. He has released four studio albums. “Room for Squares” was a platinum hit. “Heavier Things” topped the US Billboard 200 charts. “Continuum” was double platinum. It reached the #2 position on the American charts. “Battle Studies” was #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. John’s fame and wealth kept growing exponentially with the success of each. He has gone on tours often – these tours have also been big successes.

Mayer loves tattoos. He has several of them on his body. The good-looking John has been romantically associated with many ladies. Some of them include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, and Jennifer Aniston.
