John Larroquette is an American film and television actor. He has a net worth of $28 million. He has gathered his wealth from doing roles like Dan Fielding on the series Night Court. John has played the role of Mike McBride on the series McBride, and John Hemingway on the John Larroquette Show as well.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, John Larroquette is today a widely appreciated actor who has received several nominations and awards, including two Emmy awards. He grew up in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans and shifted to Hollywood in 1973 after he worked in the record and radio business.
He met his wife Elizabeth Ann Cookson in 1974 while working in the play Enter Laughing. The couple has three children. One of his sons, Jonathan Larroquette, is working as a co-host in a popular podcast called “Uhh Yeah Dude”. In the 1970s and 1980s, Larroquette was facing severe alcohol problems, but eventually, he was able to fight it off. He stopped drinking in February 1982.
John made his musical stage debut in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. He then went on to Broadway, performing in the How to Succeed In Business without really trying the show in 2011. He has played the role of J. B. Biggley with Daniel Radcliffe. He won the Tony Award for the Best Featured Actor in a Musical and also the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a musical for his performance in this show.
John Larroquette likes collecting rare books. That’s a hobby he is very proud of.
