John Fogerty is an American singer with a net worth of $70 million.
John Fogerty has made his wealth from his membership in the band Creedence Clearwater Revival and from his solo music career as well. He is not just a singer, but a songwriter and guitarist as well. John was listed as #40 in the list of Top 100 Greatest Singers. He was inspired by rock and roll celebrities like Little Richard and Bo Diddley.
John and his brother Tom formed a band with two other people in 1965. They released a few singles, but did not find success. John began his solo career under the name of “The Blue Ridge Rangers” in 1973. He performed country and western tunes first, and later on shifted his focus on releasing rock and roll singles in late 1973. His career reemerged in 1985 with the release of his first album for Warner Bros. records – it was titled Centerfield. He has recently performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood bowl. This show was completely sold out, partly because of the Philharmonic brand name, and partly because of the presence of talented musicians like John Fogarty.
John was born on May 28, 1945 at Berkeley in California, USA. He is the son of Galen Robert Fogerty and Lucile Fogerty. He has four brothers Tom, Jim, Dan and Bob.
He was married to Martha Paiz, but got divorced on 4th September 1965. He is now married to Julie Lebiedzinski since 1991. He has two sons Shane and Tyler. He has two daughters too – Kelsy Cameron and Lindsay.
