Rocker Reuben Joel Madden has a net-worth of $16 million. Madden is an American singer, record producer, actor, DJ, and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, best known as the lead vocalist  for the American pop punk band Good Charlotte.

Born in Maryland in 1979,  Madden was a normal kid from a middle class family. When his father walked out on him, his twin brother, Benji, and his older brother, younger sister, and mother, they were left destitute and winded up homeless for a while. It wasn't until after high school that he and his brother and their high school friends decided to form a band. They learned to sing and play their instruments on their own, and by 2000, they had released their debut album, titled Good Charlotte. They put out their fifth studio album, Cardiology, in 2010.

Joel has also done work in some movies, such as the 2001 teen hit Not Another Teen Movie. He also owns a clothing line called DCMA collective with his brothers, and he was a vocal coach on the Australian reality show, The Voice.
