Jenni Rivera was an American singer, songwriter, actress, television producer, spokesperson, philanthropist and entrepreneur known for her work within the Banda and Ranchera music genres. She had an estimated net worth of about $25 million.

Rivera was born on July 2nd, 1969 in California to Mexican immigrants. She was very popular for her songs. She released her debut album titled Chacalosa in 1995. This album was nominated for several Grammy awards. She sold more than 15 million albums in the span of her career. She also produced two popular TV shows, I love Jenni and Jenni Rivera Presents. These two shows were very popular in their time. These TV shows also improved the popularity of this singer. She was married to Esteban Loaiza before they divorced in October 2012. When she died, she left five children which resulted from two marriages. She died on December 9th, 2012 in a private plane crash in Mexico.
