Jacoby Shaddix is an American musician, singer-songwriter, actor, and television presenter who has an estimated net worth of $12 million. He was born Jacoby Dakota Shaddix on July 28, 1976 in Vacaville, California. He has two younger brothers, Bryson and Trevor. Their parents ended up in a divorce when he was six years and they endured all the hardships that came along.

Shaddix went to Vacaville High School and joined the school orchestra where he enjoyed playing the clarinet. He started his career by forming Papa Roach with drummer Dave Buckner in 1993. Other members include guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Will James (who left the group after two EPs and was replaced by Tobin Esperance), and trombonist Ben Luther. However, this was not very productive and at the age of 17, he was employed to wash dishes from which he advanced to be a hospital janitor in order to earn a living.

In 1999, Jacoby went back to Papa Roach where he dedicated himself to music and this led to the inevitable success of his band. The group sold more than 20 million copies worldwide with their ten albums and several EPs. Among their popular songs are "Last Resort", "Between Angels and Insects", "She Loves Me Not", "Getting Away with Murder", "Scars", "Forever", "Lifeline", and "Face Everything and Rise".

Jacoby Shaddix married Kelly Shaddix, who was his high school sweetheart in 1997, and they have three sons.
