Heather Mills was born in Hampshire, England and runs Heather Mills Trust which provides support to amputees. The trust provides recycled prosthetic limbs to those who cannot afford new ones and those who have lost their limbs in land mines. She started the trust when she became a victim of road accident due to which she lost part of her leg. She maintained her modeling career with the help of a prosthetic limb which shot her to fame. She married Alfie Kamal in 1989 but it lasted only for two years.

Heather Mills married Sir Paul McCartney in 2002 and later divorced in 2008. She has a daughter from this marriage. She is an animal rights activist and is an active vegan and supports Viva, a vegetarian group.
