Professional poker player Erick Lindgren appears to have gambled away his net worth of $50 million with poor decisions. Born in California in 1976, Lindgren has had a successful professional poker career and has won two World Poker Tour titles and two World Series of Poker bracelets.
Despite accumulating more than seven million dollars in winnings, he has recently fallen on bad times by declaring bankruptcy. Considered by many to be an up and coming poker star, it was easy to see why Lindgren was considered to be the golden child of success. However, Lindgren’s success with the cards did not carry over to sports where he lost millions of dollars in sports betting. At one point, it is believed that Lindgren had over $10 million in debt; however, that number has substantially decreased in the recent years. Lindgren has admitted to borrowing hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund his poker ventures after losing money in sports betting.
