Italian fashion designer, Donatella Versace has an estimated net worth of $400 million. Donatella is not only a fashion designer but also the chief creative officer of Versace, a division of Capri Holdings. She is the sister of the murdered Gianni Versace, who founded Versace. Originally, Donatella wanted to work with her brother in public relations, however, Gianni saw her as a much more valuable asset. Because of this, she ended up being his muse and critic, which allowed her to prepare for a more superior role.
Donatella Versace was born in Reggio di Calabria in Italy on May 2nd, 1955. An important decision that ultimately helped her in the fashion world is deciding to pursue the design of knitwear with her brother. Additionally, she has also held cameo appearances in a number of films, most notably Zoolander and The Devil Wears Prada. To further contribute to her success, she has a successful jewelry line and manages a chain of hotels.
Donatella was able to inherit 20% of the company and eventually became its chief executive officer until Versace was sold to Capri Holdings in the year 2018.
