Andrew Stanton is an American screenwriter, producer, voice actor and film director best recognized for his work on films like A Bug's Life, WALL-E, John Carter, and Finding Nemo. He is also one of the writers for Monsters, Inc. and the Toy Story franchise.

Two of his films, WALL-E and Finding Nemo, each won him an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. He earned three nominations for Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay for his contributions to WALL-E, Toy Story and Finding Nemo. Recently, his work on Toy Story 3 earned him a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Stanton also worked on The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Brave, and Exploring the Reef. In 2016, he is expected to direct Finding Dory, a Finding Nemo sequel.

Andrew Stanton was born on December 3, 1965 in Rockport, Massachusetts, U.S.. Since 1991, he has been married to Julie Stanton, with whom he has two children named Ben and Audrey.
