Denis Leary is an actor, writer, comedian, film producer and director from the United States. His net worth has been estimated to be $25 million.
Leary’s parents were Irish Catholic immigrants. His mother was a maid and the father was an automobile mechanic. Both of his parents are from Ireland, and so, Denis holds the Irish passport too, apart from his American passport. Through marriage, Denis has a cousin - Conan O'Brien, the renowned comedian, and talk show host. Denis Leary went to the Emerson College in Boston. When he was there, he met Mario Cantone, the comedian, and also Steven Wright and Gina Gershon, the actress. To this day, Cantone remains a good friend of Denis. This entire people have influenced Denis, and have contributed to where he is today. Some other people who have influence Denis are George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Michael Gough, Richard Pryor, and Sam Kinison.
Leary today is known for this wit and fast-paced comic style. He started off at Boston at Play It Again Sam's – the underground club in the 1980’s. However, he really began to get noticed when he appeared on television on The Rascals Comedy Hour in October 1990. His fame and wealth really began to flow in when Denis did the R.E.M. for MTV sketch in the early 1990’s. That was just the beginning. Soon enough, people were discussing Denis Leary, and his demand and wealth too started to go up.
Denis is married to Ann Lembeck since 1989. They have two kids.
