Also known as DJ Tiesto, Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch music producer, musician and disc jockey with an estimated net worth of $105 million.

Originating from Netherlands, DJ Tiesto is considered as one of the most popular DJs of all time. Together with Arny Bink, he founded Black Hole Recordings which released the CD series titled In Search of Sunrise and Magik. His remix of "Silence" by Delerium in 2000 which featured Sarah McLachlan earned him a significant exposure to mainstream audience and a year later, his first solo album titled In My Memory was released. This launched DJ Tiesto’s career. From 2002 through 2004, he was ranked first at DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Popularity Poll. In 2012, he ranked second in DJ Mag 100 Popularity Poll.

DJ Tiesto was once engaged to Stacey Blokzijl. The couple was supposed to get married in October 2008 after Tiesto’s proposal in December 2007. Due to his bsy schedule and inadequacy of time for preparation, the wedding was postponed. In December 2008, Stacey Blokzijl decided to break off the engagement primarily due to constant delays.
