His career didn't get big until he played the role of Ross Geller on "Friends". In 2007 years after friends David directed his first movie ever entitled "Run Fatboy Run". Other than directing "Run Fatboy Run" after "Friends" he has mainly continued to act on stage in theatre productions. In 2010 he married Zoe Buckman. In May 2011 they gave birth to their first and only daughter named Cleo Buckman Schwimmer.
