David was born in Queens, New York. He started his acting career when he was just 13 years of age. He played the role of Young Charlie in the Broadway production of “Conversations with My Father”. In the year 1993, he was nominated for the Young Artist Award for his role in “Life with Mickey”. His first TV role happened in 1994. Here he worked with Henry Winker on the series Monty, Krumholtz. He was only 16 years old at that time. Later he appeared on the show Chicago Sons.
On May 22nd, 2010, David married the actress Vanessa Britting at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The couple was engaged since July 2008. In September 2011, David was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He started radioactive iodine treatment three months after he was diagnosed.
