Daniel Dae Kim is a television personality and a film actor with an estimated net worth of $10 million. Kim was born in August 1968 in South Korea (Pusan). His family moved to the US when he was 2 years old. He graduated from Haverford College. He wanted to be a lawyer but, after playing in a two-character play in college, he eventually wanted to become an actor. Kim completed his theater major from Bryn Mawr College and successfully underwent a Graduate Acting-Program at NYU. As an actor, he appeared in numerous films and television series, which contributed to his wealth.

In 2005, Kim was named as one of the "Sexiest Men Alive" by People Magazine. In 2006, he won the Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in the top-rated series Lost. He was also awarded the Asian Excellence Award by AZN Television in 2006. At present, Kim resides with his wife Mia Haeyoung Kim and sons in Oahu, Hawaii.
