Dan presently hosts radio shows on Premiere Radio Networks. His show is called “The Dan Patrick Show”. On television, he appears on NBC Sport Network. He also appears in “The Audience Network” for DIRECTV subscribers and co-hosts NBC’s “Football Night in America”. He has worked with Sports Illustrated as a senior writer too. Patrick has been working with ESPN for 18 long years now, and used to anchor the Sunday 11 PM, SportsCenter.

Dan was born on 15th May 1959 in Mason, Ohio. He is one of the six children of mother Patricia and father John Pugh. He was a basketball player when he was in high school. He attended the William Mason High School and later went to the Eastern Kentucky University on a basketball scholarship. Finally he went to the University of Dayton. Dan started off working as an on-air personality.

He joined CNN in 1983 and worked with them till 1989. He did his job in the World Series, NBA Finals and the Winter Olympics. Patrick did a sports segment for Bob and Brian from 1989 to 1995. By the middle of the 1990’s, he was the most recognizable face on ESPN. On July 2007, Dan announced on air that he was about to leave ESPN because he wanted to work as a free agent.

Patrick has also appeared in music videos. He in 1995 appeared in “Only Be with You”. In 2002 he appeared in “I’m Gonna Miss Her”.
