Columbus Short was born in 1982. He is a singer, actor and choreographer from the US with a current estimated net worth of $1.5 million.

He was born in Missouri and he has described his family as “musical”. When Columbus was five years old, he relocated to Los Angeles and started working in a youth theatre almost immediately after this. In fact one of the reasons for the relocation was his interest in acting. Columbus believed that LA would offer him more opportunities. He attended high school at Arizona and also went to the Orange County High school of Arts before he joined the Broadway Tour of Stomp. He is married to Tanee McCall-Short and has two children.

He started his acting career as a dancer in the 2004 film “You Got Served”. After which, he starred in “Accepted”. He has performed twice in the Disney Channel’s series named “That’s So Raven”. His other TV appearances include projects like ER, Judging Amy, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Scandal. Columbus has a quite a few films to his kitty, names of which would be War of the Worlds, Accepted, Save the Last Dance 2, Stomp The Yard, This Christmas, Whiteout, Armored, Death At a funeral, The Losers and the Girl is in Trouble. In the 2010 film “The Losers”, he played Pooch – the story was based on a graphic novel. In the movie “The Wannabes”, he plays his first negative role. Short received many awards and nominations in the year 2007 and 2008.
