Christopher Stephen Botti, better known as Chris Botti, was born on October 12th, 1962. He is an American composer and trumpeter with an estimated net worth of $8 million.

The fame and wealth come from performing at the Carnegie Hall as a member of the McDonalds’ All American High School Jazz Band. Chris also goes frequently on short tours and earns his money from the performances in these shows as well. He was born in Portland, Oregon. His mother was a classically trained pianist and a part-time piano teacher. In 2007, Botti was nominated for two Grammy Awards. On December 4th, 2009, he was nominated for three more Grammy Awards. Three of his albums have reached the #1 position on the Billboard jazz albums chart. This speaks volumes about the talent of this man. Botti was the leader of the house band on the talk show, The Caroline Rhea Show in 2002.

Meanwhile, he was named one of 50 Most Beautiful People of 2004 by People Magazine. He became the host of a radio show “Chill with Chris”. By June 2009, Botti had released twelve solo albums. His first few releases are smooth jazz. Botti appeared as a Pennington Great Performers series artist with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.

During his performance on stage, he plays a large-bore handcraft trumpet that was made in 1993. Also, he uses a number 3 silver plated mouthpiece from Bach, which was made in 1926, and a Leblanc Vacchiano Harmon mute from the 1950s.
