Charlie Day is an American musician, actor and a writer, and is probably best known for his role in the TV series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia where he played the role of Charlie Kelly. He is believed to have a net worth of $14 million, the majority of which was made from his role in the above named series (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and other films like Pacific Rim (2013) and Horrible Bosses (2011).

Born Charles Peckham Day on 9/2/1976 in New York, his mother Mary Day teaches piano at Pennfield School (Portsmouth) and his father (Dr. Thomas Charles Day) retired as a music teacher of Music History and Music Theory.

Much of Day’s childhood was spent in Middleton, Rhode Island. After attending Pennfield School, he was later to graduate from Portsmouth his local school, Portsmouth Abbey School. He later obtained an undergraduate degree from Merrimack College in Massachusetts. At the time of his college years, Day was very actively involved in summer training programs that used to take place at Williamstown Theater Festival.
