Breckin Meyer is a producer, actor, writer and percussionist with an estimated net worth of $8 million. He started his career in the show business by acting in commercials. Born Breckin Erin Meyer on May 7, 1974 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, he is the son of a micro biologist and a travel agent. He has lived in several places in USA, like California, Texas, New Jersey and Virginia. Breckin has one elder brother whose name is Frank and a younger brother Adam.

During his elementary school days, Meyer got in touch with the agent of Drew Barrymore, and was signed for a few projects. Mostly, he appeared in TV commercials as a child artist. He can very well attribute the movie Clueless (released in 1995) as a turning point of his on-screen career where he played the role of a skateboarding stoner. His writing on Robot Chicken: Star Wars fetched him an Emmy nomination. Breckin Meyer also lends his voice to Robot Chicken.

Breckin Meyer has starred in numerous movies. Some of the more famous ones are Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Escape from L.A., Can't Hardly Wait, Herbie: Fully Loaded, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and Garfield. He started his television career in 1986 with Potato Head Kids, followed by Wonder Years, House, Heroes and his present show, Men at Work.

In 2001, Meyer got married to the film director and screenwriter Deborah Kaplan. They have a daughter together. The couple filed for divorce in 2012 after staying separated for several months.
