Bob Blumer is the host of Food Network’s “The Surreal Gourmet”, “World’s Weirdest Restaurants”, and “Glutton for Punishment”. His current net worth stands at $3 Million.

He has built his wealth through television shows that has become extremely popular among the audience. Bob is also a cookbook author and an illustrator – his wealth comes from this source too. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and has worked as a business manager for the Canadian singer and song writer Jane Siberry from 1984 to 1993. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. His official website says that he is a chef, but Blumer has never worked as a chef in any professionally recognized setting. When he was working for the show “Glutton for Punishment”, Bob set a Guinness World Record on July 10th, 2008. He flipped 559 pancakes in one hour. His record was broken by Steve Hamilton in 2009. Steve was able to flip 956 pancakes in an hour.

On June 12th, 2010, Blumer broke the Guinness World Record as he made the largest bowl of salsa at the 26th Tomato Fest in Jacksonville, Texas. He and his crew of volunteers made a bowl which weighed around 2,672 pounds. This was shown on Season 5 of the show. He has over the years tried to break six world records.
