Alexander Skarsgård is a Swedish actor who has an estimated net worth of $12 million. He was born on August 25, 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is famous for his role in the HBO television series True Bloo” where he is a vampire.

Skarsgård has earned most of his fame and wealth from his performance on television shows and films. He started his film career by doing the role of Meekus in Zoolander. Skarsgård had to work with a dialect coach, before they finally agreed. Later he was cast as Northman Eric, a thousand year old vampire sheriff in True Blood.

Skarsgård also appeared in the music video “Paparazzi” for pop singer Lady Gaga. In 2011, he acted in Melancholia and Strawdogs. Alex has won many awards like the Satellite award, Scream award and the Odense Film Festival award.

Son of the Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard and his first wife, Skarsgard was the eldest of his five younger siblings. His first role in a film was at the age of seven when his father’s friend gave him the opportunity. He, at the age of 19, joined the Swedish military and served for 18 months. He was in the unit which dealt with anti-terrorism and anti-sabotage. Alexander is also a great fan of Swedish football.
