Will Friedle is an American actor, comedian and voice actor with an estimated net worth of $500 thousand. He is best known for his comedic roles, most especially as the underachieving elder brother Eric Matthews on the long-running television sitcom Boy Meets World between 1993 and 2000.
William Alan Friedle was born on August 11, 1976 in Hartford, Connecticut. He attended Avon High School in 1994 and had to commute from Avon to New York City for auditions when he committed himself to becoming an actor. He also attended Occidental College before he fully concentrated in acting.
Friedle began his professional on-camera career as the co-host of Don’t Just Sit There on Nickelodeon for three seasons (1988-1991), then became part of Boy Meets World, where he became a household name. He was the co-star of Chris Owen in 2004 in the independent film National Lampoon’s Gold Diggers.
Will appeared in a supporting role in the 2005 ABC Family movie Everything You Want. He was the voice behind several video games including Kingdom of Hearts II as Seifer Almasy, Advent Rising as Gideon Wyeth, and Rogue Galazy as Jaster Rogue. He did the voice of Doyle in The Secret Saturdays, Lion-O in the rebooted ThunderCats series, and Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Recently, he was the voice for a number of animated characters such as Terry McGinnis/Batman in Batman Beyond and Ron Stoppable in Kim Possible.
