Tom Holland may become one of the biggest stars in the world. After a long and grueling casting process, Marvel revealed in 2016 that the young British actor would play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. It started with Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: Civil War. It was such a huge deal because Holland has a limited resume.
Tom's career started off with Billy Elliot the Musical. There is a connection between Billy Elliot and the comic book movies. Tom played the lead role in a run of Billy Elliot in 2008 and performed the musical at London's West End.
Tom is also an amazingly talented gymnast. He played Spider-Man which is one of Marvel Comics most active, lithe, and acrobatic characters. The actor has the same incredible moves that he demonstrated in social media.
After Captain America: Civil War, he has three other 2016 movies. Tom now has a big future ahead of him. He played Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. Tom also had a solo film last summer which includes a major deal project. Aside from those, he will also play a role in Brendan Muldowney's The Lost City of Z. He also has a movie with director/writer Rob Connolly called Backcountry.
