Sam S. Jones is an American best recognized for his appearance in the film Flash Gordon in 1980, and Ted in 2012.

Samuel Gerald Jones  was born on August 12, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is currently married to Ramona Lynn Jones, with whom he has three children. He has two children from his previous marriage. Prior to his acting career, Jones appeared in Playgirl magazine as a nude centerfold model.
