Born Michael Kenneth Williams on November 22, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York, his mother is Afro-Bahamian while his father is African-American. He enrolled at the National Black Theatre in New York City. He left school and pursued his career as a dancer which was inspired by Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814. He had a year of being homeless and a little success so he visited record labels and dance studios looking for work. He landed as a background dancer on a music tour for Kym Sim’s dance anthem Too Blind To See It. This led to more work appearing as a dancer in videos and on tours as well as some modeling job. He has worked with George Michael and Madonna. He also choreographed Crystal Water’s 1994 single 100% Pure Love.
