Not long after his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, Maury Povich started working as a reporter in the radio station radio station WWDC. In 1966, he began working in  WTTG-TV as a sportscaster and news reporter. A year later, he hosted the Panorama which earned him mainstream recognition. According to sources, Povich spent 6 years, from 1977 to 1983, as a news anchor in TV stations that are based in Philadephia, Los Angeles, California, Chicago and San Francisco.
