Martin Milner is a retired film, stage, radio and television actor who has an estimated net worth of $500 thousand. The Milner family moved to Los Angeles when he was a teenager, and he began studying acting with an acting coach. He made his debut in the 1947 film Life with Father, where he played the role of John Day. However, he became ill with polio, leading him to put his career on hold. He recovered after a year and did two more film works while graduating from Hollywood High School in 1949.

Milner had a minor role in the film Sands of Iwo Jima starring John Wayne. He had roles in films such as Operation Pacific and Halls of Montezuma. He became friends with actor Jack Webb, with whom he had worked on Webb’s radio series Dragnet.

Milner went to the University of Southern California to study theater, but dropped out after a year to focus on acting. He is most widely recognized for his performances in The Swiss Family Robinson and Route 66 for his lead role.
