American actor, dancer, singer and songwriter, Leon Thomas III, has an estimated net worth of $600,000 as of 2020. He has made many interesting moves throughout his career, and he has appeared at many different points of his fans' lives. He is best known for his appearance on Victorious, a Nickelodeon series where he played the role of Andre Harris, and in The Backyardigans from seasons 2-3, where he is the singing voice of Tyrone. As he and his fans grew older, he began a more mature music career for himself and those eager to follow him.

Leon G. Thomas III was born on August 1, 1993 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. He was raised there by his mother, Jayon Anthony, and has a younger sister named Jayla. Both remain important figures in Thomas' life, and he's grateful to have both of them.

Leon Thomas III began his career at the age of 10 when he debuted in Broadway's The Lion King as Young Simba. He has performed in two other Broadway productions titled Caroline, Or Change, where he portrayed Jackie Thibodeaux, and The Color Purple.

In 2008, Thomas appeared as Harper in "iCarly Saves TV" from Nickelodeon's iCarly. He was a main cast member portraying Andre Harris in iParty With Victorious, a crossover episode between Victorious and iCarly. Thomas has made guests appearances on other TV shows like True Jackson VP, Just Jordan, and Jack's Big Music Show.

In August 2012, Thomas released his first mixtape titled Metro Hearts. It contains songs like "Moving On", "Bad", "Forever", "Like Clay", "Vibe", and "Never Look Back". The album also includes a cover of "Take Care" by Drake featuring Ariana Grande. The following year, Thomas released a single titled "Hello How Are You" which featured Wiz Khalifa.

Also in 2013, Thomas collaborated with ex co-star Ariana Grande once again in her first album Yours Truly. He co-wrote four songs and co-produced five songs on the album. After becoming heavily involved in record production as part of The Rascals with Khristopher Riddick-Tynes, Thomas produced the song "Last Christmas" on the pop star's Christmas Kisses EP.

The former Victorious stars reconnected in 2020 for Grande's sixth studio album Positions. Along with many other producers, The Rascals contributed to the album that debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.

In 2014, Thomas released his second debut studio album V1bes under the name Leon Thomas. With this release, the singer-songwriter was able to show his fans his musical abilities beyond how they knew him on the TV shows and featuring performances on his co-stars' albums.

With the production duo, The Rascals, Thomas has worked with many other popular artists, including Post Malone, Zendaya, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Drake and Ty Dolla Sign. On Post Malone's 2016 album, Stoney, Thomas was credited as a co-producer on the project as a whole. Thomas also contributed to the Grammy award-winning album Love, Marriage and Divorce, where he wrote the song I'd Rather Be Broke performed by Toni Braxton.

Music isn't the only place that Thomas has blossomed into an amazing artist. With his roots in TV, he turned his attention back to acting. Thomas's late career in TV & film include a role in HBO's Insecure where he portrays the character Eddie, the character Harrison in Sci-Fy's FraXtur, and roles in the movies Detroit and Runaway Island. All characters he portrayed were very different from how his fans knew him growing up, and it was a great way to see how he has taken to acting later on in life.

While Leon Thomas III was once coined one of the richest and most influential actors and musicians in the United States with an alleged whopping Net Worth of $245 million in 2013, he now seems to keep to the small screen and a more low key life. All his success as a younger man on TV has set him up for his life, and he surely doesn't have to worry about planning for his future financially; his work as a young actor has already set him up for that. Now, he focuses on passion projects and creating things that will genuinely make him happy. His 1.4 million followers on Instagram, however, show that fans are still eager to know about his life and receive updates from him.

Thomas has a YouTube channel called leonthomasmusic where he posts videos of songs he wrote, videos of covers such as, "Prototype" and "Blackbird, and what he calls "smash-ups".
