Jason Donovan is an Australian singer and actor best recognized for playing the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In the United Kingdom alone, Donovan has sold more than three million records. His debut album, titled Ten Good Reasons, sold more than 1.5 million in UK, making it one of the best-selling albums in the country. As of 2012, Jason Donovan has released a total of 12 albums.

His collaboration with Kylie Minogue in 1988 led to the release of "Especially for You" which later became a No.1 single in the UK. Three of his other singles also peaked at #1 on UK charts. Meanwhile, Donovan has six singles which peaked at #1 on Irish charts. These singles include "Especially for You", "Too Many Broken Hearts", "Sealed With a Kiss", "Every Day (I Love You More)", "When You Come Back to Me", and "Any Dream Will Do."

Before his music career, Donovan earned wide recognition for his appearance on the Australian soap opera titled Neighbours. He also appeared in several film and TV projects such as I Can Jump Puddles, Skyways, Home, MDA, Loot, Ned, Tempe Tip, Sorted, Horseplay, The Sun, the Moon and the Stars, Rough Diamonds, Galleria, Shadows of the Heart and Prisoners of the Sun. 

Jason Donovan was born on January 1, 1968 in Malvern, Melbourne, Australia. He is now married to Angela Malloch, with whom he has three children named Jemma, Molly and Zac.
