James Maslow is an American dancer, model, actor and singer-songwriter best recognized for his appearance on Big Time Rush, a TV show on Nickelodeon where he played the role of James Diamond. He is also one of the members of the band Big Time Rush. The other members of the band include Carlos Pena, Jr., Logan Henderson, and Kendall Schmidt.

On television, Maslow has appeared as a guest on shows like iCarly, BrainSurge, Nick News, Hand aufs Herz, How To Rock, Figure It Out, See Dad Run and Marvin Marvin. In 2012, he also appeared on the TV movie titled Big Time Movie. 

James David Maslow was born on July 16, 1990 in New York City, New York, USA. Big Time Rush's first album B.T.R. sold 67,000 copies on its debut week. In 2011, their sophomore album titled "Elevate" sold 70, 000 copies on its debut week. In June 2013, the group's third album, 24/Seven, was released.
