Dennis Lee Hopper was an American actor with a net worth of about $40 million. He was born on the 17th of May 1936 but passed away from cancer on the 29th of May 2010. Dennis Hopper was born in Kansas and as a young boy, he developed an interest in acting and therefore joined the Actors studio where he began his acting classes. His first appearance on the television was in the year 1954. Later, he was featured in the films Giant in 1956, Rebel without cause as well as James Dean in 1955.

He later prospered and played as a guest on television. By 1960, he was featured in many films. He also started photography as his career in the 1960s.

He has won Cannes Film Festival awards and also been nominated in the Academy Award as the best original Screenplay being a co-writer. He was also a filmmaker and in 1969 he starred and directed Easy Rider.
