 Christian Kane was born on June 27, 1974  in Dallas, Texas USA. Studying an art degree at the University of Oklahoma, Kane moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in acting before he finished his degree.

He is known to be the lead singer of Kane, a country rock band. It was in 1997 when Kane and his bandmember Steve Carlson met. Eventually, the two started writing songs, and the Kane band was formed. Shortly, the group's self-titled debut album was released. This was followed by the release of their sophomore album Acoustic Live In London!. In December 2010, their third album The House Rules was released, and it peaked at #25 on Billboard Country Albums chart.
