American born actor Cornelius Crane "Chevy" Chase has an estimated net worth of $50 million. Chase has spent nearly his entire career working in comedy. He got his start working small comedy gigs here and there, eventually transitioning to comedy full time in 1973 working on "The National Lampoon Radio Hour". He went on to become one of the original members of the first season of Saturday Night Live. Chase's career hit it's high point in the 1980's. In this decade he starred in many major motion pictures including Caddyshack in 1980, "National Lampoon's Vacation" in 1983, "Fletch" in 1985, "National Lampoon's European Vacation" in 1985, "3 Amigos" in 1986, and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" in 1989. Chase's career took a down turn in the 1990's where none of the films he starred in did well at the box office. Chase worked on NBC's "Community", although he left the show in 2012. Chevy Chase is married with three daughters, all living together in Bedford, New York. He has been active in politics when not acting, campaigning for Bill Clinton and John Kerry during there respective campaigns.
