Trish Stratus is the stage name of a retired professional wrestler, former fitness model, fitness guru, actress and television personality who has an estimated net worth of $2.5 million. Born Patricia Anne Stratigias on December 18, 1975 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, she studied biology and kinesiology at York University, where she also played soccer and field hockey.
Trish began her professional career as a receptionist at a local gym. She was later approached by the publisher of MuscleMag International to do a test shoot for the magazine, and later appeared on the cover of the May 1998 issue. She then signed a contract after that and appeared on several magazine covers for the next six months. She also joined Big Daddy Donnie & Jeff Marek as the third host of Live Audio Wrestling on Toronto Sports Radio.
In 2000, Trish Stratus started wrestling for the WWF/WWE where she appeared as a “heel.” She has managed several “heel” wrestlers and also appeared in the ring herself four months after her debut. She retired as a professional wrestler on September 17, 2006 after winning her seventh WWE Women’s Championship, setting the record of the most wins in the history of wrestling.
After her retirement, Trish served as the spokesperson of the World Natural Sports Association, and has appeared in several reality shows and films. She was also a trainer in 2011 for WWE Tough Enough and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2003.
