Chris Benoit is a former Canadian professional wrestler who has an estimated net worth of $1.1 million.

Chris Benoit started his career in 1985, after he undergone a rigid training at Hart  House under the supervision of Bruce and Stu Hart. He debuted in a match, when he teamed up with Rick Patterson, and won against Butch Moffat and Mike Hammer. Eventually, he won his first title in Stampede British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Championship in 1986. During his stay with the promotion, he won four International Tag Team, and three British Commonwealth titles.

He joined New Japan Pro Wrestling in 1986, and spent a year for training in their New Japan Dojo with the aim to improve his abilities. Benoit also competed in Mexico and Europe. Benoit debuted to the World Championship Wrestling in June 1992. He and Bobby Eaton formed a tag team but they loss to 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell. After leaving WCW, he headed back to Japan and joined the Extreme Championship Wrestlimg which lasted his stay for a year.

Benoit returned to WCW in 1995. He teamed up with Dean Malenko and won the WCW World Tag Team Championship in 1999. Along with Arn Anderson, and Steve McMichael, they formed the Four Horsemen. When disagreements began to rose, Benoit and Malenko left the team.

In 2000, he moved to the World Wrestling Federation, and became one of the members of The Radicalz. The team lasted for months, and he did an alliance with a former rival, Chris Jericho. They fought Edge and Christian during the Tag Team Turmoil match. During his stint at the WWE/WWF, he won the WWE United States Championship thrice, and became a four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion.

Christopher Michael Benoit was born May 21, 1967 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He married twice, and has 3 children. On June 25, 2007, the police found his body and killed his wife, Nancy and his 7-year-old son, Daniel.
