Ted Ligety is an American alpine ski racer which has an estimated net worth of $2 million.

Ted Ligety began his passion as a ski racer at the age of 10.He honed his skills when he joined the U.S. development team upon graduating at The Winter Sports School in Park City, Utah.

In 2004, he won a silver medal in slalom during the Junior World Ski Championships. Ligety competed in the World Cup and Winter Olympics. He successfully defended his world title in giant slalom in 2013. He was named by the United States Olympic Committee's 2012-13 Olympic SportsMan of the Year

Aside from being an award-wining ski racer, he owns a skiing apparel company, Shred Optics in 2006.
