Ryan Babel is a Dutch footballer who currently plays in the Süper Lig for Kasımpaşa as the team's foot winger or striker. In 2011, he received a salary of $5.6 million. Since 1995, Babel has been a member of the Dutch National football team.

Ryan Guno Babel was born on November 19, 1986 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After spending six years as a youth player for Ajax, Babel made his way up to the senior squad. From 2004 through 2007, he played for Ajax. After playing for Liverpool from 2007 through 2011, he had a short stint with the 1899 Hoffenheim, then again with Ajax.

At the international level, Babel was a part of the team which took part in the  2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup, 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Under-21 Championship, and the 2008 Summer Olympics.
