Javier Zanetti is a former Argentine professional football player with an estimated net worth of $12 million.

Javier Zanetti tried out to be part of Independiente youth academy but was rejected due to lack of physique to succeed in a game. He joined the Talleres de Remedios de Escalad and played for 33 games and scored one goal. In 1993, he moved to the Banfield first division.

After his brief stint with the Banfield, he joined the Internazionale in 1995 where he stayed with for 19 seasons and made 858 game appearances. Zanetti received numerous accolades such as 1996 Golden Pirate, 2002 Pallone d'Argento and 2010 Premio Nazionale Carriera Esemplare Gaetano Scirea.

Zanetti announced his retirement after the last game of the 2013-2014 season. He was appointed by Internationale president Erick Thohir as Vice President.
