Clint Hurdle is a former American professional baseball player and manager with an estimated net worth of $45 thousand.

Clint Hurdle started playing baseball at Merritt Island High School in 1973. Aside from baseball, he was lettered to football and basketball. In 1975, he was chosen by the Kansas City Royals as the first round, 9th overall pick during the amateur draft.

He played for the Royals from 1977 to 1981, but appeared regularly in 1978 and 1980. Hurdle was traded to Cincinnati Reds and spend one season with the team. He went on waivers to join other teams such as New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals.

Hurdle announced his retirement in 1987. A year later, his managerial career startedwith Class A St. Lucie Mets. Aside from the Mets, he also served as manager for other teams such as AA Jackson Mets, AA Williamsport Bills, and AA Tidewater Tides.

He joined the Colorado Rockies as minor league hitting instructor in 1993. Three years later, Hurdle was named as hitting coach and was promoted to manager in 2002. He was fired in 2009 after a disappointing start for the season. Also in the same year, he was Texas Rangers' hitting coach until 2010.

The Pittsburgh Pirates hired Hurdle in 2010 and won the National League Sporting News Manager of the Year award in 2013.
