Robbie Rogers is an American soccer player for Los Angeles Galaxy.

Robbie Rogers started playing soccer at an early age of four when he joined the American Youth Soccer Organization.  Three years after, he played for the Coast Soccer league.

While attending Mater Dei High School, he was two-time All-American in soccer. In 2005, Rogers appeared for USL Premier Development League's Orange County Blue Star.  He played for University of Maryland's Terrapins soccer team for one season and led the team to win the 2005 NCAA Championship.

After his stint with the Terrapins, Rogers did a three-week trial with the Heerenveen. With his impressive performance with the team, he signed a two-year contract with the Dutch side in 2006, but he left a year after via mutual consent.

Upon his return to the United States, Rogers signed up with the Columbus Crew in 2007. He moved with the Leeds United in 2012. During the offseason, he was loaned by the Stevenage between August 2012 up to January 2013.

On February 15, 2013, Rogers announced his retirement and also revealed that he is bisexual. Three months later, he returned to play soccer with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Robert Hampton Rogers was born on May 12, 1987 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
