Originating from Cleveland Ohio, Ted Ginn, Jr. currently plays as kickoff returner and wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

Ted Ginn Jr. attended the Glenville High School where he played as wide receiver, defensive back, and quarterback. He was then named as the 2004 USA Today Defensive Player of the Year, 2004 Parade All-American, and 2004 SuperPrep National Defensive Player of the Year.
