Currently worth $40 million, Steve Young is a retired professional football player who spent 14 seasons with the National Football League before his retirement in 1999.
After playing collegiately at Brigham Young University, Steve Young decided to pursue a pro football career at the United States Football League where he played with the Los Angeles Express for a year. He then started playing for the National Football League with Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1985-1986) and San Francisco 49ers (1987-1999).
He was selected to Pro-Bowl for seven times (1992-1998) and he was a 4-time First Team All-Pro selection (1992-1994 and 1998). He was also part of Super Bowl Championship team for three times (XXIII, XXIV, XXIX). During the Super Bowl XXIX, he was awarded as the Most Valuable Player. In 1992 and 1994, he was NFL's Most Valuable Player. He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame.
He has appeared in commercials for Burger King, Gatorade, Visa, and All Sport. Steve Young was born on October 11, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is Brigham Young's great great great grandson. He is married to Barbara Graham with whom he has two daughters and two sons.
