From 1977 to 1986, Herman Edwards played as the cornerback for Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles. In 2001 to 2005, he was hired as the head coach of the New York Jets. Apart from being a football analyst, Edwards also served as the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs for the National Football League (NFL).
