Also known as The Edge, Edgerrin James is a former Football player for the Indianapolis Colts. He was signed as the fourth overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Edge signed a 7-year, $49 million contract with the team. Many critics exclaimed that Edge is a poor choice compared to Ricky Williams but Edge proved that they were wrong.
On the same year, he was awarded as the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Aside from Indianapolis Colts, Edgerrin James also played for Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. Edgerrin is an inductee to the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame. Currently, Edgerrin's net worth is estimated to be around $40 million.
