Trevor Ariza is an American professional basketball player who has an estimated net worth of $20 million. Born Trevor Anthony Ariza on June 30, 1985 in Miami, Florida, he attended Westchester High School in Los Angeles and played alongside future NBA players Hassan Adams, Brandon Heath, and Bobby Brown. Together, they led the Comets to the California State championship when he was a junior.
After playing one season for the University of California Los Angeles, Trevor Ariza joined the NBA Draft and he was the 43rd overall pick of the New York Knicks in the 2004 NBA Draft.
In 2007, in exchange for Maurice Evans and Brian Cook, Trevor was traded by Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers where he won an NBA championship. Two years after, he signed a five-year contract with the Houston Rockets which was reported to be $33 million. A year later, he was involved in a 5-player, 4-team trade which landed him to the New Orleans Hornets.
In June 2012, together with Emeka Okafor, Ariza was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for a draft pick and Rashard Lewis. Just after two years, he was re-acquired by the Houston Rockets in a three-team sign-and-trade deal. Four years later, he signed a one-year, $15 million contract with the Phoenix Suns. However, after five months, he was traded again to the Washington Wizards for Austin Rivers and Kelly Oubre Jr.
