Of Croatian ancestry, Toni Kukoč is a retired professional basketball player with an estimated net worth of $30 million. Known for his impressive prowess, versatility and passing ability, Toni Kukoč is considered as one of the early Europeans to have played for the National Basketball Association.
Though he still played in Europe, Kukoc was drafted by the Chicago Bulls as its 29th overall pick in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft. However, he only reported to the Bulls in 1993 just in time for Michael Jordan's retirement. He was disappointed with Jordan's retirement because he wouldn't be able to play with the basketball superstar. In 1995, Jordan returned.
At Jordan's return, the Bulls acquired Dennis Rodman who was then considered as an exceptional rebounder. Scottie Pippen remained as small forward which left Toni Kukoc on the bench. Nonetheless, he earned the NBA title and NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award after getting the third highest score (only behind Pippen and Jordan). From 1996 through 1998 seasons, Toni Kukoc was part of the NBA Championship team, Chicago Bulls.
From 2000-2001, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers and during the 2001-2002 season, he played for the Atlanta Hawks. He was also part of the Milwaukee Bucks from 2002 through 2006 seasons. Toni Kukoc is a three-time Euroleague Final Four MVP (1990, 1991, 1993). In 1994, he won the NBA All-Rookie Second Team ward.
